Docomomo International would like to share with you the Night of Museums: open night and photography at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in the framework of the Barcelona Architecture Week. As many other cultural institutions in Barcelona do to celebrate this extraordinary night during which museums are open beyond their usual opening hours, the Pavilion will have open doors and free access from 6.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
On Saturday 15 May, the Mies van der Rohe Foundation invites you to visit the Pavilion at night and discover the work of photographer Arina Dähnick through her architectural portraits in “The MIES Project. Architectural Portraits”. You can watch the opening conversation between Arina Dahnick and Michelangelo Sabatino here to learn about the author, about photography, and about this project that revisits Mies van der Rohe’s legacy.
