Building Collapse: Plasco Tower

docomomo International painfully informs about the Plasco Tower collapse caused by a fire, in the last 19th January 2017.
The Plasco Tower was a 17-story high-rise in Tehran, Iran, design by Banjamin Brown and Spero Daltas (american architects stablished in 1957 in Tehran). Built in 1962, was considered an iconic landmark of the Tehran skyline, the tallest building in Iran when it was constructed, by the Iranian Jewish businessman Habib Elghanian.
In this tragedy, more than 30 Iranian firefighters were killed and dozens of people had been injured.
