Clorindo Testa 1923-2013

The prestigious architect Clorindo Testa, renowned for works such as the National Library, the Bank of London and the Recoleta Cultural Center, died on April 11 in Buenos Aires, at age 89.
During his long and successful career he was awarded the National Award for Painting Central Bank and Platinum Konex, among others. It was Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Buenos Aires and Citizen of Buenos Aires and was part of the National Academy of Fine Arts since 1976.
