Festival: Kosovo Architecture Festival, 6th edition

"The Festival will be officially opened with the "Conserving the National Library" exhibition at the Library itself starting from 3.00 PM. The exhibition will feature the work done by KAF which was supported by the Getty Foundation & it will be opened by myself and Antoine Wilmering the head of the Keeping it Modern initiative. 

From Monday to Friday we have evening lectures starting from 7.00 PM at the centrally located Kino Armata. The evening lectures will feature Rainer Mutsch, Eliza Hoxha, Ivan Blasi, Ivan Kucina, Antoine Wilmering, Liam Young, Nils Fischer, Ethel & Cesar from Dpr-Barcelona, Future Architecture Creatives such as Parallel Sprawl, Fala Atelier, Babau Bureau and other. 

On Wednesday night our program is reserved for documentaries, and weŽll be screening two short movies by Daniel Schwartz of Fancis KereŽs work, a movie by Urban Think Tank on the Sarajevo Museum, the Dezeen movie on Drones, as well as the Mies on Scene documentary by the Mies Foundation and Ivan Blasi. 

During the whole week a Book Salon with publications from  DPR-Barcelona, Actar, UrbanNext, Mies Foundation, Docomomo, Getty Foundation & GCI, as well as KAF, will happen at Soma Bookstation & Bar. On Saturday weŽll be closing the first wee of events with several book presentations by Gezim Pacarizi, Eliza Hoxha, Mies Foundation, DPR-Barcelona, & UrbanNext, and will be discussing the need for "written architecture" in a panel with the above. 
The event will be properly closed with a party at Soma starting from 9.00 PM. 

The Festival will return with another week of lectures, workshops & exhibitions in September with lectures by David Basulto of Archdaily, an exhibition on the Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2016 cycle, FA workshops and more...
