 International Docomomo Conferences Proceedings
The International Conferences are organized every two years by a Docomomo chapter. The conferences provide the opportunity to inquire into a theme related to an important aspect of the modern movement.
The keynote lectures, papers, short papers, and posters are gathered and published in the proceedings.
Next conference, organized by Docomomo Mexico, will be held in Mexico City, from August 19 to 27, 2010 on the theme “Living in the Urban Modernity.”
Docomomo’s International Specialists Committee on Technology (ISC/T) organizes seminars on technological issues specific to the conservation and restoration of modern architecture. Participants are architects, historians, and rehabilitation specialists.
The proceedings are published in the Preservation Technology Dossiers.
Docomomo International publishes a six-monthly magazine that features articles by architects and architectural historians, addressing all facets of modern architecture, from history and form, to conservation and technology.
From the first Docomomo Newsletter—a 26-page edition published in August 1989—to the Docomomo Journal 41, the 90-page current edition dedicated to architects.
