 Docomomo International Membership
The function
of Docomomo International is to cooperate with official and voluntary
organizations to further the aims set out in the Docomomo mission statement. To
this end, the international secretariat coordinates activities between the
chapters, the various specialist committees, and individual members. To
provide a platform for debate and information the Docomomo Journal is
issued twice a year, and specialist publications are regularly published. Biannual
international conferences and specialist seminars are organized to further the
exchange of ideas and information. These activities are largely financed
through sponsoring organizations and institutional funding. For additional
funding of these services and activities, Docomomo International has a membership.
The membership fees are administered by Docomomo International. Details are
given below.
Memberships are maintained on a calendar year. New members will receive all
issues of the Journal for the year in which they join Docomomo International.
Due to administrative reasons, annual memberships should be directly collected
by chapters and transferred to Docomomo International secretariat before
February 28. Excepts can be made for individual memberships to be sent directly
to the international secretariat, when there is no national or regional chapter.
Membership Levels
 Individual membership is the
standard level (benefits include 1 copy of the 2 issues of the Docomomo
Journal, discounts on all Docomomo International publications, one reduced
registration to biannual conference).
60 euros for one year
Student
membership (undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate). Students receive a 50%
discount if a copy of a valid student card is enclosed with their application
form. (Same benefits as individual)
30 euros for one year
Institutional membership is intended for academic and professional
institutions.
Institutional
active (benefits include 2 copies of the 2 issues of the Docomomo Journal,
two reduced registrations to biannual international conference, discounts on
new publications)
200 euros for one year
Institutional
sustaining (benefits include 4 copies of the 2 issues of the Docomomo
Journal, five reduced registrations to biannual international conference,
discounts on new publications)
300 euros for one year
Corporate
membership is aimed at practices and industrial companies that wish to sponsor
our work. (Benefits include 4 copies of the 2 issues of the Docomomo Journal,
five free registrations to biannual international conference, discounts on new
publications).
1,200 euros for one year
If desired,
corporate and institutional members will be listed in all publications of
Docomomo International.
Membership
Reductions
The Docomomo
International membership fee has reduced categories (0% to 100%) for
underprivileged countries. The list of underprivileged countries will be
updated every two years by decision of Docomomo International secretariat.
