Richard Klein is the new chair

Since 5 April 2016, docomomo France is chaired by Richard Klein.

Richard Klein is architect, doctor of art history, professor of architectural history at the National School of Architecture and Landscape of Lille, director of the Lacth, research laboratory of ENSAPL. He is the author of numerous articles and several books on the history of contemporary architecture including : La villa Cavrois, Regards (Editions du patrimoine 2015), Robert Mallet-Stevens. Agir pour l´architecture moderne, (Editions du patrimoine 2014), La cite de l´Etoile à Bobigny, Candilis, Josic, Woods architectes, (Craphis 2014), Le Corbusier: le Palais des congres de Strasbourg (Picard 2011), Dialogues sur la invention, Roland Simounet (Le Moniteur 2005), Robert Mallet-Stevens, La villa Cavroisditions Picard, 2005), Les annees ZUP, architectures de la croissance 1960-73 (avec Gérard Monnier, Picard, 2002), Roland Simounet à l´oeuvre - Architecture 1951-1996 (IFA/Mamva, 2000).

His current research focuses on new programs of the architecture of the second century. He directs the collection "contemporary architecture" to Picard editions and directed between 2000 and 2008 the collection "architecture / archive" to Jean-Michel Place editions.
