Conference: A Moradia Brasileira - Habitação e Cidade Democrática

Architect Sergio Magalhaes, current President of the Brazilian Institute of Architects and responsible for the design and implementation of the Housing Policy of Rio de Janeiro between 1993 and 2000 will present the conference "Brazilian Housing - Housing and Democratic City", on 28th April 2016, at FAUP, in Oporto, Portugal. The session will include an introduction by André Luiz Pinto (MDT-CEAU-FAUP researcher).

It will be preceded by the debate "Houses for Everyone? The Housing Policies in Portugal: Achievements, Gaps and Challenges", moderated by Ana Silva Fernandes (MDT-CEAU-FAUP) and with the presence of Paula Marques (CML), Isabel Raposo (Gestual-CIAUD-FAUL), Isabel Guerra (DINÂMIA’CET-IUL), Tiago Mota Saraiva (ateliermob) and Rita Silva (Colectivo Habita).
