Between 23th March and 13th April the Lecture Series Talks on Lewerentz, Mackintosh an GK&C will take place on Wednesdays -meet 7pm for a 7:30pm start-  at the Glasgow School of Art, at their Bourdon Lecture Theatre at 177 Renfrew Street, G3 6RQ, Glasgow, Scotland

The Alexander Thomson Society is running a lecture series of four evening talks in Glasgow, three of which are on 20th century buildings. Themed Ruins & Fragments, the series includes, on 23 March, a talk about the Scandinavian architect Sigurd Lewerentz, well known for his Modernist church designs (such as St. Mark´s Church, pictured); an evening, on 06 April, about the on-going restoration of the fire-damaged Glasgow School of Art, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh; and, on 13 April, a discussion of the works of the well-known Modernist architectural practice Gillespie, Kidd & Coia (GK&C) from Glasgow.
